I was 16 years old
when Art Therapy
chose me.

Here’s my story…

I’m Ceara Rossetti, an Art Therapist with a specialization in trauma and eating disorders. I received my Master’s degree from School of Visual Arts in New York and have worked with people of all ages in school, medical, and treatment center settings. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Fine Art from Brandeis University.
Throughout my time in the field so far, I have been exposed to many ways of working and thinking. With each new perspective I was introduced to, I was able to shape my own approach to working with clients and advocating for the field itself.

I am currently working at Family & Personal Counseling seeing outpatient clients, and have launched an Etsy shop, Relating Through Art. I have always believed in the therapeutic power of art. My desire to combine art with my love of psychology led me to art therapy. Being someone who could support others in their time of need was always how I wanted to live my life. When I learned more about art and its innate power, I knew that it was important for me to continue to delve into it. I believe that art is an expression of the self, an outer representation of the inner workings of the artist, and it can mean anything.
